[Dubstep: You Know What?! (WIP)]

For being pretty new to dubstep.. i give you a standing ovation.. yup thats right.
I've listened to a tonn of your dance stuff for awhile now.. so.. i came across this and was like.. alright.. lets see what he can do..
The song starts off.. like a dance/techno song with a dubstep beat.. in my head im starting to thing.. "How in the world is he going to go from this happy dancey trancey beat into some sick dubstep?" 1:10 comes along.. the gate comes in.. and i swear, if i was just listening from 1:10 - 1:48.. i would've guessed it was a straight up dance song.. which imo.. shouldnt be that way.. or atleast, you should give some hints to the listener that it IS a legit dubstep song.. maybe make a "gritty" lead piece in there.. or even bring in a little wobbles before hand.. like at 54 bring in a filtered bass or something :P just given some ideas..

Back to the beginning, where i thought there was no way you could pull this off... there is a sub drop (WHICH I LOVE) and then a Fl core vocal which im pretty sure everyone has heard about a BAJILLION times :P hahahah.. you dont have to, but i think this song would be sick with a better vocal part in there.. maybe a scream from that youtube video "Guy screams at cats?" :P hahaha that would be great..

The wobbles and the bass comes in.. this is where my standing ovation comes in.. YOU HAVE SOME SICK WOBBLES IN THERE MY FRIEND.. Everything fits perfectly man.. you have it down perfectly :P
I would love to share some presets with you.. cause some of those were siiickkkk ;P haahah

So, you dont have your good setup, but you still make a super catchy dancey song.. Props to you my friend :D
Lovin that part at 1:08.. I have headphones on and the volumes up all the way, and it sounds awesome :P
Okay so when i first started listening, I was like.. whoa.. it was weird but really catchy, which it pretty cool :D
The only thing i would critique would be that you could've used a punchier kick, and or brought it out more, cause at parts the bass and lead almost duck the kick away.. im talking about around :56.. but i'll let it slide this time cause you dont have your good setup ;D
Other than that, Catchy, dancey, great song :D

But i probably will make a new fresh one, because this project was more like a testrun. So theres like shit scattered all over it ^^

Synths i used was from nexus, the bass was made with Monomate, i used 3 different ones that i made and put together, which i later on sidechained (learned how to sidechain with fruity peak controller today!)

Lol, the vst used is Sylenth. It's a very good vst. Though the modulation is rather limited, you can create envelopes and lfo's in your DAW if it allows you to manipulate arbitrary parameters, which is what I did. The sound quality of the vst, however, is is amazing. Thanks for the review!

xD just kidding, this song just makes me want to dance.. I would've liked to actually hear what the vocal cliping thingys were saying more, cause it just sounds like a chipmunk singing :P but there isnt anything wrong with that :P sick song..
